Below is how to use the Check Drug Cost tool to compare pharmacy prices on your medications:

1. Enter the name of the prescription drug in the “Enter drug name” field.
2. Choose the area where you’re searching pharmacies by entering an address or zip code in the specified field.
3. Select the distance from the address, between 5 miles and 25 miles, that you’d like to search within.
4. Click the “Go” button.
5. In the resulting screen, select the button of the dose prescribed.
6. Enter the number of pills prescribed per day and the number of days available to be filled through the prescription.
7. Click the “Price Drug” button.

The resulting list of pharmacies includes their cost for the specified drug. Select each listed pharmacy to view the cost charged for the drug at each location.
